IAF Future Flex - Concept Note
We, humans, are the product of highly advanced flesh-spirit bonding and any prediction of the future should take into account our primordial human drive to hope and love. This design attempts to preserve that quality of life. It celebrates human genuineness, spirituality, sensibility, and its deepest connection to nature.
After the pandemic, we have been recreating the meaning of everything, which includes looking into the nuances of our daily mundane life and finding joy in it. These multilingual over layered words endeavor to extend that essence. I have referred to various Indian contemporary poets like Sukumar Ray, Sitanshu Yashachandra, Amarjit Chandran, Dilip Chitre, Chandradhar Barua, Nilmani Phookan etc. Their poems have helped me to translate a sense of space where everyone belongs and thus provide a serene sensory experience with words, color and texture. Moreover, the design is a collective effort by many people and it celebrates togetherness, beauty and India itself.
